Project info-session in Derry-Londonderry (Northern Ireland)

The StartUp_EU (Be a High Tech Entrepreneur) project partners are organizing a project info-session that will take place in Derry-Londonderry (Northern Ireland) on 29th May at 4.30 pm, in the framework of the XXII EBN Annual Congress, this year organized in partnership with NORIBIC (www.ebncongress.eu).

The earlier an entrepreneurial spirit is encouraged, the better the results for society” this is how the debate ‘Educating the Next Wave of Entrepreneurs’ ended at the World Economic Forum 2011. From this assumption StartUp_EU Project focused its attention to address the motivation of entrepreneurship and innovation within European secondary school students.

More than 300 students are now participating to the StartUp_EU competition (and other 60 students have been protagonists of the mini-piloting competition in January-March 2013), testing and developing their entrepreneurial skills on a Web2.0 technology platform, learning about entrepreneurship through inspiring and thought-provoking videos, online workbooks covering business and marketing plans and presentation skills.

In this framework, StartUp_EU Project partners are developing a dedicated workshop to present achieved and expected project results to teachers and other stakeholders that want to know more about the opportunities the project can offer them. In 1 hour time we will present to you:

  • Project Goals
  • Project Activities:
    .: StartUp_EU online platform,
    .: StartUp_EU students’ competition,

    .: StartUp_EU Project Reference Group
  • Project Exploitation Activities
